About Dr. Annapurna Mamidipudi:


Dr. annapurna mamidipudi is a renowned scholar specializing in science, technology, and society studies (STS). Her research delves into the innovative practices of craftspeople, exploring how they forge their material knowledge and navigate the value of their work in past and contemporary landscapes. Currently, she is a grant recipient from the German Research Foundation for her project, "Epistemologies of Craft: The Role of Material Innovation in Making Color Expertise" at Technische Universität Berlin. Additionally, she has held prestigious positions, including a postdoctoral fellowship at the Deutsches Museum and a trustee role with the Handloom Futures Trust in India.
