Woxsen University. March 22, 2024

Fashion illustration, a captivating blend of creativity and technique, serves as a vital medium for designers to communicate their vision and evoke emotion. Under the expert guidance of Prof Abhishek Ray and Prof Vishaka Rao, students at Woxsen University's School of Arts and Design delved into the intricacies of this art form, exploring a diverse range of techniques and styles.

Draping Illustration: Embracing a dynamic and tactile approach, students explored the fluidity and movement of garments, capturing the essence of their designs with realism and precision. Understanding the interplay of light and form, they brought their illustrations to life with authenticity.

3D Fashion Illustration: Students ventured beyond traditional methods, sculpting and modeling garments by hand using a myriad of materials. Through folding, draping, and creative manipulation, they redefined beauty, showcasing innovation and individuality in every stitch.

Mythological Illustration: Drawing inspiration from ancient myths and legends, students infused their designs with cultural richness and mystique. By incorporating elements inspired by deities and mythical creatures, they created garments that told compelling stories, resonating with history and imagination.

Composition Illustration: Through interactive croquis and dynamic compositions, students explored diverse silhouettes and garment aesthetics. From male-female to female-female compositions, they honed their skills in creating captivating visuals, transcending traditional boundaries and embracing creativity without constraints.
