🎬 Film Screening The Human Shelter, & a thought-provoking symposium on the relevant and timely question, “What makes a Home?

In collaboration with Design Studio 1 @ Interior Design, the School of Arts & Design, Woxsen University hosted a screening of the acclaimed documentary The Human Shelter.

This inspiring film, co-produced by Associate Professor Christian F. Aronsen and his team in partnership with IKEA, was directed by award-winning Danish filmmaker Boris Bertram. It takes viewers on a journey across four continents, exploring the essence of home from Norway to Iraq, Lagos to Tokyo, and even envisioning life on Mars.

Recognized globally, The Human Shelter has been featured in the UN-Habitat’s “Housing for All” campaign and showcased at prestigious venues, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum in London.

The screening was complemented by a thought-provoking symposium on the relevant and timely question, “What makes a Home?”
